SSL CERTS
get the following from the customer
email to send the cert to:
host (example www.mydomain.com or secure.mydomain.com)
City
Company Name appears on cert
Company Division appears on cert 'admins name is fine'
email (shown on certificate)
password (incase of changes to cert)
dedicated ip address
-----------this gets entered into whm /generate an ssl cert
then buy the certificate using the link above using the same customer information
After you purchase it the registrant will receive an email that needs to be replied to for the cert to be issued.

Then the certificate is emailed to the email address of the SSL account holder. This procedure can then be followed to install it.

Once the certificate is received, then using the certificate and key, in whm/installl certificate
Type the domain name and then tab out. It should show the info now. Then take the cert and make it a file.crt
Then save then cut and paste into the top box
ANY OTHER ORDER OR METHOD MAY NOT WORK, this procedure needs to be followed to have your cert installed correctly.

This software is PHP Coin and documantation can be found at http://docs.phpcoin.com/
We sell discounted liceses for other premium signup products that are of a higher caliber including lpanel, whm autopilot and modernbill. Below is OUR OPINION of each softare product. Pricing is available at http://www.integrityhost.com/additionalservices.htm

lpanel - The easiest to use, flexible and customizable, but support can sometimes be slow, bugs are not uncommon. Documentation is incomplete. Includes live chat.

whm ap - excellent support, but product is not very customizable. Easy to use, stable and good documentation.

modernbill - The most flexibility for customization but is complex to setup and use. Documentation is good and support is excellent. Allows you to use one billing software to auto signup on Windows and Unix servers.

awbs - We have not used this program and do not resell it but it looks good from our research. It requires you to build your site around existing templates unless you will be doing custom programming. It has inexpensive add-on modules that seem to work well. Allows you to use one billing software program to auto-signup on Windows and Unix servers.

Hosting flash swf files is easily done on any hosting plan we offer. You can give your flash swf movie a preloader, so it will download part of the movie before beginning playback. This ensures smooth viewing.

If you want true streaming for flash media, that detects users speeds and hosts many simultaneous connections, you will need a flash server.

You can host a flash server with a VPS plan if you are just beginning, but if you will have many connections, a dedicated server is needed, and we do occasionally offer specials on some unmetered bandwidth servers used for flash streaming, having 10mbps, 20mbps, and 100mbps unmetered connections.

Once you have your server you will need software to stream your flash. Flash Media Server (FMS)is the perfect software for this, but Adobe has done away with leasing the software and now requires you to purchase it for upwards of $4600. Therefore, we suggest 2 alternatives.

http://www.osflash.org/red5/ is a good open source solution
http://www.wowzamedia.com/ is much less expensive than FMS and has a free version for up to 10 streams.

We can install this software onto your dedicated server upon request, but you will need to configure it to your needs.

About suphp
----------------------
This is the most flexible way of serving PHP requests and tends to be very secure. PHP scripts are executed by the user who owns the VirtualHost serving the request.

http://www.cpanel.net/support/docs/ea/ea3/ea3php_php_requests.html

If you are setting up custom php settings, the custom php.ini file will be required in a folder where the php script needs to execute. Or you can place php.ini anywhere and have this directive in public_html/.htaccess

suPHP_ConfigPath /home/username/php5-config

where username is your cpanel account username, and php5-config is just a folder name (you can name it anything) and it will pick php.ini from that folder. Yes, you can have php.ini outside of your webroot in suPHP. This is a new feature.

5. To activate php5 on a subfolder or in your whole account, this directive was added in .htaccess in phpsuexec

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php .php3 .phtml

or a variant of it. Now this must be proceeded by the marker comment to block cpanel from changing your settings:

# Use PHP5 as default
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php .php3 .phtml

---> suppose you want register_globals On , for any site.

1) Make a folder called suphpconfig inside /home/username
2) create a new file called php.ini inside /home/<username>/suphpconfig/
3) Add the following code in /home/username/suphpconfig/php.ini

register_globals = On

4) Create a file called .htaccess insde /home/username/public_html folder and add the following code in .htaccess file :

suPHP_ConfigPath /home/username/suphpconfig

where username is your cpanel account username. Now register_globals is on for your site, even if it is turned off on the server.

Note:- This if for servers having suphp setup only, if you have any doubts, contact support or live chat first.
